The Ruzzi della Conca are an event that takes place between the last Sunday of August and the first of September in Chiusi Scalo. Every evening you can dine in the restaurant, have fun in the pub listening to live music and get involved in the cheerful atmosphere.
All competitions take place at the sports field, preceded by a parade. Particularly accurate is the parade on the last Sunday in which the participants present paintings of daily life from the early 1900s, the historical period of reference for a town – that of Chiusi Scalo now definitively united to the historic center – but which was born separated from it around at its station in the early 19th century. The event is based on the game of the ball to the bracelet, a game that has its roots in Renaissance Italy and that dominated the national audiences before the advent of imported games, one above all football.
